Handicapper's Report - September 10k Handicap

57 starters ... equal to best in 2017-18 (March’18)
5 pbs
1 having his 1st run

The first 4 to cross the mats were all Qualifiers. First home was Zac Brown having his first run. He over-estimated his expected time and flew home well in front. Then came Kevin Tran, Pauline Kelly and Ian Wilson all pb’ing with their 2nd run.

Next home was our trophy winner, Ismael Salazar, in 52:10, with his best result since his pb (51:13) in August’17.

2nd home was Ly Hoang in 50:50 with a 24 sec pb on last month’s Best of the Best effort.

And 3rd was David Jaffe, in 58:32 with his best time since August’17.

The 5th pb was earned by Tony Farrell resuming running for the first time since his shoulder operation 9 months ago, in 66:14, and bettering his pre-op run time.

Congratulations to our place getters. Thank you to everyone for participating. Great efforts everyone, and like always, great running.
