What does it cost to be a part of a friendly family orientated running club?
Only $20 per year (even less if you pay early) plus $2 per run.

What do I get?
Membership of Western Districts Joggers & Harriers includes eligibility to win prizes and accumulate points in our regular handicap runs, a copy of our monthly Footprints newsletter, and access to other great benefits.

How do I join?
Just turn up at one of our regular events on Saturday morning, or email our Membership Officer.

When will my membership expire?
The Western Districts Joggers & Harriers membership year is from 1 September to 31 August. All memberships expire on 31 August.

Can I join at any time during the year?
Yes, join at any time and you’ll only pay a reduced membership fee to bring you to the end of the membership year.


Why do I need to pay $2 per run?
This covers the cost of tea, coffee and other club costs.

How do I get the $5 membership discount?
You need to pay the full annual membership fee prior to 31 August to receive the $5 membership discount. There are no discounts for payments received after this date or for part year payments.


Will the club send me a renewal notice each year?
You will not receive a specific renewal notice but you will be advised through the Footprints newsletter and on the website that membership renewals are due.

What fees are payable for children under 18?
If you are under 18 years of age as at 31st August the membership fee is just $2.00 per year.

Do I need to be a member to participate in the regular handicap series?
Yes, to accumulate points and be eligible for prizes, you need to be a member of Western District Joggers & Harriers.
